I’ve read a handful of books by this author, and have enjoyed them all. This is part of a series but should be an easy stand alone. Let me tell you, the first sex scene was hot! I hate when those scenes are generic, where you can insert any names and it could be part of any book. This was so not like that! And Erik, if you love broken, grumpy Heros, look no further. My biggest complaint of the whole book was the age difference. I’m not a fan of age gap, and although there are bigger gaps out there, Lydia’s young age made it a little more than if these characters were in their 40s. That being said, it didn’t have the ick factor that turns me off of a lot of age gap stories. This book releases today and is available on Kindle Unlimited.
