I absolutely loved the book before this one, Somebody To Lean On, so I was worried that this one couldn’t live up to the standard. I liked the other one better, but I did enjoy this one too. It was so sweet, and to see Riley get his happy ending was satisfying. I still haven’t gotten around to book 1 of this series, but I got a lot of the back story from this book and the previous that I knew the basics. These two were just adorable together, I smiled thru so much, and I hope to see more of them in the next b

I believe this is my first book from this author, but when I saw it was narrated by Andi Arnt and Joe Arden, I couldn’t resist. I read eniugh of the description to see it was small town, single dad and assumed I’d like it. I loved it! Of course the narration was amazing, but I really enjoyed the story, and now I’m going to have to read more books by this author, as if my TBR (to be read) wasn’t long enough! If you have the choice, go for the audio on this one. I had no idea there was suspense in this book, a very welcome surprise.

Kait Nolan is a favorite of mine, and I love that even though she’s not in Kindle Unlimited, she puts books out for free often enough that even those on a budget can get their fix.

Chelle Sloan is one of my favorite authors. Her books keep getting better somehow. I’ve read everything she’s written so far, and I love how characters from other books are still involved and pop up from time to time. This one was so good because it was real. No over the top plot twists, no craziness that would never happen in real life. I could legitimately relate or understand the why’s and the how’s. The kids were fantastic, I adored them all. Yes it’s listed as age gap, but it’s not icky at all. Wes was such a great, flawed character, I loved him. Again, real. Betsy was so fun, kind of a mess, but so lovable. I loved watching all the pieces click into place. Highly recommend this, and anything else Chelle Sloan that you can get your hands on.

I’ve read all of these football centered books and they just keep getting better. I love marriage of convenience/fake relationships. I have no idea why, but I’m addicted. Throw in a hot sexy single dad and it makes for a 5 star read. I loved Greer and her big heart and her jumping first and asking questions later. Such a good story, I really enjoyed it. It works as a stand alone, but this book and all the others leading up to it are free in Kindle Unlimited if you’re looking for a good binge.

Another free book from the Wishful Series! If you’ve been flowing me, I’m sure you’ve been able to get a good portion of this series for free. All these years later, this is still one of my favorite series.

I’ve been on a Kait Nolan audio kick this year using the Hoopla ap. So many of her books are there on audio, including all of these books here. I love her Wishful Series, and these are set in that magical small town, but not as light, these are romantic suspense. I love having a box set! This one is available in both ebook and audio, and Amy McFadden is just fantastic on the narration. I’ve moved on to the Men of Misfit Inn now, and she narrates those as well. On a side note, her Eden’s Ridge starter set is free again (or still, I’m not sure which). I’m in the middle of listening to Let It Be Me right now, which is included in this box set below. Check them out!
