I loved this book! From the first chapter I was hooked, it had quite a dramatic entrance. Then the love story, the family, everything that came after was just so well done. Putting aside the professional athlete aspect, it was such a realistic plot. Outside forces making things feel impossible. I didn’t expect to cry either, but there was such a beautiful scene later on on the book, it just meant so much to the story, seeing a new perspective. I have not read all of this authors books, so there were a lot of names, characters, some I was familiar with, some not as much. It may be a bit overwhelming if this is your first Karla Sorenson book. But Emmett and Adaline were so good, such chemistry, their time together was so well done, especially that last time, you could feel how meaningful it was. I absolutely recommend this book, but if you’re like me, you’ll probably want to start with the precious series, the Bombshell Effect, which is Emmitt’s beginning.
