I loved this book, I just recently recommended it to someone recently for an insta love story. I love this author and have read pretty much every word she’s written, twice. I have been wanting to find time for a reread on this one too. The kids are adorable, not brats, and the dog is just perfect! Check it out, Mignon Mykel is one of those authors that goes in and out of Kindle Unlimited, so grab it now while it’s free so you don’t miss out.
Maggie Moves On by Lucy Score

I loved every single thing about this book. I loved all the characters (there are a lot, but introduced in a way that never felt overwhelming) I loved the romance, the mysteries of the house, the town, the people in it. Seriously everything. This book was on the longer side, and I still could have read more. The ending just made me smile, while at the same time I was bummed it was over. Lucy freaking Score nailed this one. If you’ve never read her, be ready to go thru her whole catalog after you read this one and fall in love. It’s that good. Seriously one of the best books I’ve read this year. I need to make time to read it again down the road, I loved it that much I’m already planning a reread!

I’ve never read this author, but I was drawn to this one, grumpy/sunshine – marriage of convenience have been a couple of my favorite tropes to read lately. I really enjoyed this story. I liked how details unfolded at just the right pace, not too slow that you got bored, but just enough to keep you turning pages. Tgis is book 2 of a series, and it is a stand alone, but I felt a touch lost when it came to Evan and Val, but that mostly got cleared up as the story went along. Overall it was a great story with likeable characters that were so easy to root for. I’m glad I came across this one.

I absolutely loved this story! It’s friends to lovers yes, but it didn’t go down quite the usual path. I loved that for people with money, their issues were pretty normal and universal. I haven’t read any other books in this series, in fact I believe it’s only the 2nd book I’ve read from this author. So there were a bunch of characters that I wasn’t familiar with, and it was a touch overwhelming to read some of it. I will definitely go back and read the previous books because I really enjoyed this one. I looked up, and it looks like most,if not all of her books are on Kindle Unlimited, so I will for sure plan a binge read to catch up.
Once Upon A Campfire: A Summer Camp Meet Cute Romance – Kindle edition by Nolan, Kait, Bischoff, Susan. Literature & Fiction Kindle eBooks @ Amazon.com.

This was a cute summer read! There was a whole series set in the fictional Camp Firely Falls years ago. I didn’t get them all read, but at some point some authors pulled their books. It was one of those multi author series all set in the same world. Kait Nolan had at least 2 books. This one and Second Chance Summer, which I also loved (plus it ties to her current series). Pick this up today for a light summer read.

I love this series, I’ve read all of the books so far. It will work as a stand alone, but there’s so much reference to other books, I recommend reading them all. Harrison is Erin’s brother (who we first met back in the McCullough Mountain series, then saw more of in Pining for You, and in her own book My Funny Valentine). Their parents really did a number on the two of them, which we learned so much of from Erin’s book, its heartbreaking. Erin made such a turnaround in the last book, I was curious to read Harrison’s take. I enjoyed their story. I also enjoyed the new Erin, which is hard to believe after having read her in previous books. I liked how the story went back in some flashback scenes to show their history. Mariella (who we met in Love Me Nots) was a great character, strong yet vulnerable. I loved how she didn’t let Harrison walk all over her like you sometimes see in books. I loved seeing her family, and seeing that Italian Mary is still going strong. I hope I never have to say goodbye to these characters. After having finished the McCullough Mountain series, I don’t want this series to end.

This book easily could have been book 1. In fact, some places I saw listed it as book .5 or 8. I don’t believe it gave anything away that happened thru the series, I think it might have been better to read this one first, because Kate wasn’t as involved in books 1-6, since she was the oldest sibling. By book one she already had a couple of kids, so I never really felt like we knew much of anything about her. I remember some from them in Pining for You, but Ant, in that book anyway, came across very different. We also learned something in this book that I did not know, which was such a surprise, but made me like Ant that much more. His and Kate’s story is not at all what I thought it was, and I’m glad the author included this book for the series. Like I said after book 7, it felt like she didn’t want to let these characters go any more than me as the reader did. I’m disappointed I’m finished with this series, even though Jasper Falls is still going, the McCullough’s hold a spot as one of my favorite series.
