I’ve read a handful of books by this author, and have enjoyed them all. This is part of a series but should be an easy stand alone. Let me tell you, the first sex scene was hot! I hate when those scenes are generic, where you can insert any names and it could be part of any book. This was so not like that! And Erik, if you love broken, grumpy Heros, look no further. My biggest complaint of the whole book was the age difference. I’m not a fan of age gap, and although there are bigger gaps out there, Lydia’s young age made it a little more than if these characters were in their 40s. That being said, it didn’t have the ick factor that turns me off of a lot of age gap stories. This book releases today and is available on Kindle Unlimited.

You all know by now how much I love Kait Nolan! I discovered today this book is free. Like with any freebie, grab it now while you can. This one I loved so much, I’ve read it twice. There was a whole series of books set in a Summer camp for adults. It was one of those multi author ones, all set in this summer camp. It’s a shame, I just looked, the intro book, Winning His Wife Back doesn’t seem available anymore. I’ve read and/or purchased a lot of them. This is one of the best ones, but I may be biased.

I almost didn’t read this one because the description called it a bully romance. I don’t enjoy bully stories. I think I’ve only read one before and I just couldn’t wrap my head around the dynamic. To fall in love with someone who terrorized you in some way? Nope, not for me. But then I remembered how much I enjoyed the last book in the series, which also was almost a no go. Pining for You was a virgin nanny story, which is also not even near the top of my favorite tropes, but I really enjoyed it. This again, was so much better than I expected! It wasn’t bully in the sense that I thought. It was really complex and emotional, and starred Erin, who was in the last book, and she was a total witch in it. It actually took me a quarter of the way into the book to realize it was her. And honestly, the author does such a great job at explaining her behavior. You actually do feel bad for her. And Giovanni. I could go on about him, but this is already quite a long review. Give it ago, especially if you’ve been reading this series as I have. Plus it seems hinting that Erin’s brother may be getting his own book, so knowing some family history will probably help.

I listened to the audio of this book, and I just loved it so much. The narrator did a fantastic job with this one, but I know audio isn’t for everyone, they’re more expensive and some people just aren’t into it. Which is fine, but this one is on Kindle Unlimited, so I encourage you to read it if you can’t listen. My Heart broke for Cammie in this one. Heck, even for Noah. It was so good, funny, sweet, romantic and a fantastic happy ending. It’s a journey and I can’t say enough good about this one.

I don’t talk about audio books a whole lot, but I finished this one yesterday that I thought was really cute. It had the feel of clean here and there, but it wasn’t. Nothing over the top sex scene wise, but I think there was an f bomb here and there. I’m terrible at paying full attention because I read both clean and dirty. This was both a new to me author and narrator and I can easily said I would read/listen to both again. I’m not sure how tight your book budget is, because audios do run more expensive. I happened to win a copy of this from a Facebook group I’m in. So if budget allows, listen to a sample and give it a listen.
