I love mixing in some romantic suspense with my regular romance. I liked how this series connected with I believe it’s the Salvation series. I’ve read a lot of books by this author, but not all, but I was familiar with this one. I don’t even know where to begin with why I enjoyed this book so much, without giving anything away. I understood all the why’s on Penelope’s part. I appreciated how Miles was there without being overbearing. I loved all the other relationships and friendships within the story, all the way down to Ethan and Kai. I can’t wait for the next book!

Another of the many new releases this month. This is not my usual story to read, but it was a lot of fun. If you need something a little different, a little lighter, something to not take too seriously, this book is it!.

This was so different than what this author normally writes, but it was so fun! Luna was the perfect quirky, I loved her sense of humor. You’ve got grumpy/sunshine, opposites attract, plus a fun romantic suspense. This was just what I needed after having just finished a pretty heavy book. I would not hate another book or two to make this into a series!

I’ve read a handful of books by this author, but I don’t believe any from the Braden Family before. I wish I knew more of the side characters and their back stories, but it didn’t keep me from enjoying this book. I loved Clay and Pepper’s relationship progression. It was so light and fun and sweet, and just felt so natural and special. I adored the little moments, and the way it built over little things. I don’t want to give anything away, but it was very gooey and I can’t wait for more in the series, and I have to catch up on the previous series in the meantime.

I really enjoyed this one! I believe it’s a total stand alone, and not terribly long. It took some turns that I did not expect, which were different and I liked, even if it took me a minute to see the reasoning. Honestly, I’m hoping there are other books to follow, because it wasnt enough. These seem like a fun group of friends, and I’d love to see more.

What’s also great about this one is that it’s a read and listen for free with Kindle Unlimited, so if you’re into audio books, it’s a great was to take advantage of KU.

I’ve read a handful of books from this author, and even though they’re darker and more violent than what I normally read, I have been enjoying them. This one, overall I did like, but it started getting old of the Otto not being good enough, and she deserves more, blah blah. What kept me going was the suspense element, I had an idea on some, but there was a jaw dropping moment for me. One I definitely did not see coming! I ended up skimming half of the naughty scenes because the romantic part just wasn’t doing it for me as much. I liked them together, don’t get me wrong, but the romantic part just felt a little drawn out for me. But it was still worth reading for that and all the action.

I’m so sad this series is over. It’s been so emotional and such an enjoyable ride. Still heavily feeling the effects of Tim, this one felt heavier overall than the last book. It needed to be, of course, but I wasn’t expecting it. I wasn’t expecting to cry so much, especially at the epilogue. I enjoyed this story, this series so much. I loved the added twist into Parker and Anya’s relationship that I didn’t see coming, but added so much to the story.

I haven’t read a Kait Nolan book that I haven’t loved. I love that she’s spun off to keep the Scotland stories coming! I appreciated Parker not being perfect herself, it made her empathize with Callum that much more. And the dog! Who knew I’d love a dog this much from a book? I’m so ready for more from Scotland.

One of the many new releases for the month of February. As a Chelle Sloan fan from day one, I’ve definitely been looking forward to this one. Get ready, because this releases tomorrow!

This series has been fantastic so far! I luckily avoided all trope talk, so I was excited for one of the tropes once it popped up. Obviously, by the title, it’s a single mom story, but there is definitely more going on. There are some great lines, and of course, praise to Dolly! I love how Chelle Sloan gives the bad guys their due punishment – and the payoff is amazing! I loved seeing Maeve be more than just the “mom” to all, the older, wiser, more responsible one, to see her come to life. What a fun ride! I loved that Logan had more depth to him, and the two of them together were pretty hot. Can’t wait for more of the Bank’s sisters.

I absolutely loved In a Jam, and I loved this one just as much, maybe more. I’m a sucker for friends to lovers, so that put this one over the top. It’s a long one, but I never once got bored. There was always something going on, between Emme’s friends/family or Ryan’s teammates and family. I actually highlighted a bunch of lines that just made me laugh. This book is funny, swoony, sweet (NOT clean, definitely not clean-so hot) and just warm and fuzzy. Lots of friendships and relationships going on, but it was never overwhelming. I could go on, but I don’t want to spoil anything, but just know it was amazing.
