I love mixing in some romantic suspense with my regular romance. I liked how this series connected with I believe it’s the Salvation series. I’ve read a lot of books by this author, but not all, but I was familiar with this one. I don’t even know where to begin with why I enjoyed this book so much, without giving anything away. I understood all the why’s on Penelope’s part. I appreciated how Miles was there without being overbearing. I loved all the other relationships and friendships within the story, all the way down to Ethan and Kai. I can’t wait for the next book!

Here and Now by Corinne Michaels is now live!
I’ve crafted my new life in Ember Falls with two simple rules: maintain superficial
relationships and always be ready to run.
But when my son’s incredibly hot hockey coach Miles Anderson walks in, things get
very, very complicated.
With his charming smile and our accidental dates, he’s the exact opposite of any man
I’ve ever dated. That should make saying yes to being with him simple, but nothing in
my life is easy.
In fact, it’s a mess.
Miles makes me smile and treats my son like his own. When we’re together, I forget
about my troubles and dream of a life that I will never be able to have with him.
It’s only a matter of time until the past comes knocking and I’ll have to leave, breaking
us both in the process.

Another new release today, I said February was a busy book month!
I absolutely loved In a Jam, and I loved this one just as much, maybe more. I’m a sucker for friends to lovers, so that put this one over the top. It’s a long one, but I never once got bored. There was always something going on, between Emme’s friends/family or Ryan’s teammates and family. I actually highlighted a bunch of lines that just made me laugh. This book is funny, swoony, sweet (NOT clean, definitely not clean-so hot) and just warm and fuzzy. Lots of friendships and relationships going on, but it was never overwhelming. I could go on, but I don’t want to spoil anything, but just know it was amazing.
