I have read, listened to, and enjoyed each and every book in the Aspen Cove series, and I get it, all things must end. I must say it’s a lovely way to end it. You could even start with this book and then go to the beginning and take it full circle. Lots of characters are brought up, but not in any overwhelming way. I will absolutely miss these characters and this town. The entire series is available and free to read with Kindle Unlimited.

I’ve been using GoodReads for a few years now to keep track of how many books I read per year. It also helps me keep track of what books I’ve already read, because with my self diagnosed book amnesia, I would never remember every single book! My first couple of years, I didn’t realize you had to log start and finished dates for GoodReads to count your book. My goal used to be higher, as you can see I managed to finish 308 books one year, but that was back when my job allowed me more down time to read. I’m pretty happy with finishing my goal of 175 this early in the year. With over 2 months left, I’m hoping now to hit an even 200. Do you set reading goals? How many books do you read? I listened to the audiobook veriosn of this and I had to slow this down way more than the last book I listened to. I realized I wasn’t absorbing and actually listened to it again from the beginning.

This story was kinda silly, but in a good way. Anna was kind of annoying in the first part, but I appreciated her more in the second part, she really matured and redemmed herself. Stella Bloom was good at portraying the almost crazy character. I don’t know if I’ve ever listened to the male narrator before, but I would listen to him again.

I love Noah! Even though both characters are in their 20s, it didn’t feel young like they sometimes can. The romance, the family was story enough, but then you throw in all the workplace drama and I was hooked. This book was highly addicting, and I hope the series isn’t over!

I can’t believe this series is over! I loved how so many other Kait Nolan characters and series crossed over. From the bad boy bakers to the infamous Ari. I so enjoyed this story. I loved how all the pieces of the series clicked into place for Afton to finally get her happy ending. And Freya, I adored her! Poor Hamish, I think his character may take some flack, but the man has been thru so much, it just felt like the world came crashing down. It happens, we all have times where it feels like we can’t win, where everything is stacked against us. I totally got where he was coming from. Even though it’s set in Scotland, and the series came about over a 300 year old marriage pact, this book, the turns their lives took, felt so relatable.

I LOVED this book! I’m a sucker for married couples books. Good ones are hard to come by because they usually fall into the Women’s Fiction category, and I’m pretty strictly a Contemporary Romance kind of gal, so like I said, I don’t come across good ones often. I admit I didn’t read all of them! I read Bad Apple ( the first story) and definitely want more.

The second was Mignon Mykel (the whole reason I have this anthology) and man does it jump right in! I absolutely would love a full story there.

Big Daddy I skipped cause that’s just not my thing.

I read and enjoyed If Only. Then I started skipping over to other authors I’ve read before. Including AM Wilson, and Aubree Valentine. Rescued was set in the Abandoned world, which I’ve read. So parts of that felt familiar. I absolutely want the full story. The history, just the rest. One Hot Summer, Alex and Jake were so cute and sweet, and I need to see more from them as well.

I love anthologies of shorts like this because you get to discover new authors you may not have heard about before. I do plan to keep reading, but the 5 or so stories I read already, I’m sure I will enjoy the rest.
