Falling for Another Darcy by Kate O’Keeffe

This is the 3rd book following the same couple through stages of their lives. The first book (Dating Mr. Darcy) is following their meet and initial romance, done in a dating show format, which was fun for those that love The Bachelor (even if you don’t, it was still fun). There’s also many references to Pride and Prejudice (which I’ve never read, so most of that was lost on me). Then book 2 was Marrying Mr. Darcy, which, you guessed it, all about the wedding. So now book 3 follows them to what happens after the I do’s. This book was so special and I’m sure there will be so many readers that can relate. I feel like it was well done with a mix of humor from keeping it from getting to heavy. It really was a beautiful ending that just warmed my heart, I’ll miss not following these two around anymore.

I’m pretty sure I read this series once with Kindle Unlimited, but I just read the description of this one and its not sounding familiar. Luckily it’s free, so I can check it out.

This was such a good second chance romance! I loved this one. Who am I kidding, I’ve loved every Wishful story. I don’t know how long this one will be free, so grab it now.

Love Me I’m Your Princess by Laura Burton

New release! This was a quick little escape book. I read it in an afternoon, but I enjoyed the length. It was light and fun and quirky. Violet was a goof, and I think this would make a cute Hallmark type movie. I don’t normally read too many royalty books, but I’ve enjoyed this author enough with other books to give it a go. It is clean, just so you know going in.

I already own all of these books, but I couldn’t help but to share them. I love Kait Nolan. Know Me Well was one of the first books I read when I got my kindle years ago, and it introduced me to one of my all time favorite series, Wishful. Also, her Second Chance Summer was so good, I’ve read it 3 or 4 times. I’ve shared so many of her books in the short time I’ve had this little blog, and here is a box of 3 books you may or may not already have.

PROMISES AT PYRAMID ROCK BY JESS MASTORAKOS

I’ve read a few books by this author before, I did read book 1, but you don’t need to. This was such a sweet story. I’m a sucker for friends to more stories. I just love the history, the safety of it, the shared inside stories. Relationships built on friendship first are author ways stronger for it, in my opinion. This was an easy read, and just a feel good story. Nothing overly angsty (which is refreshing) and a happy ending. I’m looking forward to reading the next book. It is a clean romance, but it doesn’t feel cheesy wholesome. I enjoyed it.

The Best Man by Lydia Michaels

This was on the shorter side, and I kinda wanted more. I read the first book (Wake My Heart) in this series and loved that story so much, I jumped to read this one. There was a whole lot going on for the length of it and I flew thru. I loved this one in a different way, less emotional for me, but could be just as emotional for others. Once again a heavy topic is covered, but mixed in with enough other stuff that it doesn’t leave you feeling weighed down. I’m definitely down to read book 3 when it’s ready. These are the first 2 books I’ve ever read from this author, and I have to say, I’m definitely impressed. She does such a good job of mixing your emotions, heartbreaking, sad, funny, romantic, I’m absolutely looking forward to more.

Reckless by Adriana Locke

I’m thinking I like the Mason’s more than the Landry’s, and that’s hard to believe! Siggy is the mother in law everyone wants, and it kind of makes me wish I had this big crazy family. It always feels like fun chaos when everyone gets together. Rosie is just the best, like so freaking adorably the best, she was a perfect edition to this whirlwind of a story. Because that’s exactly what this book is, a whirlwind. So much happened in such a short span, it was really hard to put this one down. I really want to believe that everything does happen for a reason, and I love the lesson of that in this book. Adriana Locke has become another one if those authors that I read sight unseen and know I wont be disappointed. I read this in less than 24 hours, and I wanted to forgo sleep in order to finish the same day I started, but the adult in me won out. So maybe block off a few solid hours to read this because you won’t want to stop once you start.
