Oh.My.Goodness. This series. I’ve read and loved each book. I just listened to the previous book getting ready for this one and I’m glad I did, it brought it all back fresh. This was an amazing ending. Literally jaw dropping. I was so hooked on this one, I didn’t see so much coming, which was just fantastic. You absolutely have to read the whole series to appreciate this finale. I don’t read a lot of romantic suspense, but this is everything I want in one. Don’t forget to grab the bonus epilogue when you’re done. Reading order below.

First, I love a sports romance. It’s always one that I will jump to read no matter the trope. Enemies to lovers isn’t my favorite at all, but this is enemies adjacent, so it wasn’t what I anticipated. This was a ripped from the headlines and I just loved it. I had a feeling what was happening, but of course it came with way more than I thought. Definitely a good one.

This might be my favorite of the series. I liked Valentina’s back story and Iiked that there was more than just their romantic story. Enemies to lovers is not my favorite trope, but I enjoyed this one. I liked getting to know Duece better too, because I had a different picture in my mind about what his character was like based on the other books. He was much more likable in this.

I don’t even remember how I came across this book, but I really enjoyed it. I loved seeing the evolution of Storm in such a short time. I appreciated that the time apart was justified in its own way. No one was deliberately trying to be hurtful. There were a lot of characters layed out and it was hard to even think of trying to keep track, but I really liked the core group and the setting. I enjoyed the quirks of a small town as well, it was emotional at times, but also had its comic relief, and just normal type stuff.

I did not read anything about this before I started it, all I knew was golf (from the last book). I admit, I know nothing about golf, so I wasn’t super excited. But I forgot, it’s Chelle Sloan, of course it’s going to be good! I had no idea it was a marriage situation, almost Ross & Rachel, which was fun to watch it play out. I laughed out loud so many times, and I admit, I was wrong to not be excited to go into this one. Chelle Sloan has not let me down yet. I don’t know how she does it every book, but I’m always laughing with her one liners. And man, can she write some good revenge scenes! I got so invested, I forgot that I don’t know anything about golf. I can’t wait for more from this series, it’s been fun so far getting to know this new group.

I can’t imagine Meghan Quinn writing a book that I didn’t love. We met Bennett in the last book, but if you haven’t read it yet (you should by the way) you can still enjoy this one on its own. I loved Bennett! He was silly and fun, yet had such a sweet, kind heart. I loved the conflict, and how it was resolved, it was just perfect. I also loved seeing the author take jabs at herself. If you’ve read all of her books, you’ll catch a few drops here and there, and one had me absolutely laughing out loud. I loved it.

The audio was fantastic as always. I’m so spoiled with the duet narration that includes some of my favorite narrators. Even after reading the book, I was laughing out loud all over again while listening to the audio. Cougar’s name was even funnier to hear out loud than it was to read it. All the narrators did amazing bringing this story to life. I absolutely loved the audio on this.
