I listened to the audio (as a reread) and I’m glad I read the ebook first, because I did not care for the female narrator, it ended up being a distraction to the story, so I’m glad I already knew what was going to happen. The male narrator was fantastic, I would listen to him any time. I did like that it was duet style, my favorite.

I’ve been reading this series all along, and I was looking forward to Bennett’s book, because I love a widower story. As I started this one, I saw it going in a direction I did not like, and I almost quit reading. Had I not read so many books from them already, I may have. I told myself to trust the process and kept going. I hit a point where I was hooked, I couldn’t put it down. I fell in love with these two and this entire family. There was so much to it, the perceived feelings of Bennett, Wren, and how spectacular she was, Delaney, Leia, all of it. I love how the past was delivered, this was one of my favorites from these authors. I’m so glad I didn’t quit on it.
The story itself was fantastic, so over the top hilarious, with so many Home Alone references. The full cast duet narration was so much fun to listen to. Duet is my favorite, then you throw in the additional voices, especially the narrator, makes for such a high quality experience. If you’re an audio person, this one is worth it.
I have no words. Okay, maybe a few. This story unfolded so carefully, so unbelievably. This whole series has been darker than what I nor.ally read but I’ve been hooked. These men, when they fall, they fall hard and fast and I love it. Theo was definitely very guarded, and so was piper, it’s a wonder how they managed to figure things out. I adored Finn and Nelly. Great editions to the story. I’m looking forward to Cash’s story, but will be disappointed when the series is over.I also listened to the audio. Teddy Hamilton is fantastic, one of my favorite male narrators. The female, I don’t think I’ve listened to before, she was just okay. She over acted most of the book, so even the non dramatic scenes were read dramatically, so when the plot really thickened, there was no where for her to go. And sometimes her Finn voice was too much and made my ears scrunch.
