This was a cute story. I love a fake relationship, and even better when there’s history. I loved how they both struggled personally with different things, but when it came down to it, they knew what to do.

This is one of the clean authors that read from time to time. I appreciate that it’s not lacking in chemistry just because it’s clean. No, there was no sex, but there was still physical affection.

I’ve never seen a Below Deck before, so I have a feeling those that love that show will love this book. I didn’t know any of the boating lingo, which didn’t interfere with the plot itself, but I wished I i was a little more knowledgeable as I was reading. I found it interesting, first of all that it was only told in Ember’s point of view with a sprinkling of confessionals throughout. It was different and I liked it. I also liked the side character stories that were happening. There was always something going on to hold interest.

The narration was good. I wasn’t sure what to expect with the single point of view. But being as duet is my favorite anyway, it totally made sense on this. I loved all the accents for sure. Not sure how I feel about some of the effects that were used. Both new to me narrators that I would listen to again.

It took me way to long to realize this was connected to Single Dad Dilemma. No worries if you haven’t read that one yet, but you definitely should!
Another fantastic story with this one. I loved all the supporting characters and hope to see Vanessa get a story too.
Although it sort of felt like Archer had a quick transformation, once you really see it, it was there all along, he just didn’t know how. I loved the chat Remi had with her grandpa, and the court room scene towards the end had me cracking up!

I loved the audio. CJ Bloom is always a favorite and now I have Stephen Dexter to add to my favorits list. They both did a great job on this one.

It’s been years since I read the other books in the series, so I only have vague memories of the characters. I loved this book. Seeing Michelle and Scott’s story play out. All their years together bringing us up to book one. I loved how much they went thru and were still married and happy through the series. They never should have been, but they built a beautiful life together. Very raw and emotional in parts. Heartbreaking, unimaginable. This was just so well written, now it makes me want to reread the rest if the series again. This was such a great book. And I absolutely loved the titles of the chapters, so nostalgic!

I was super excited for this. I loved the Romantic suspense lite that Kait Nolan has written in the past. I enjoyed this book a lot. It was heavier on the suspense, but no lighter on the romance. I just loved Hoyt, he was all in from go and I just loved that. I can’t wait till the next book comes out!

I loved both narrators on this one. Amy McFadden has done so many Kait Nolan books, and she does them so well. Ryan West has been added to my list of narrators I would definitely listen to again.

After listening to the first book in the series, I was ready for this one. Bad boy, brothers best friend, grumpy/sunshine (ish), accidental pregnancy, all kinds of good tropes! I loved Foster, he reminded me of another baseball bad boy. The whole situationship with him and Callie had me hooked, especially in addressing the magazine article. Plus there was a fun, cheeky scene in a book store. I love when the authors can crack a joke and not take things too seriously. I enjoyed this one just as much as the first book, and I’m definitely looking forward to the next one

For those who only read clean romance, this one is for you. If you’re like me and read both clean, and not so clean, this was a cute one. A little ripped from the headlines, a little reverse grumpy sunshine. A lot sports romance. I adored Theo’s birthday party. I felt myself grinning through all of it. This was a clean book, but still had the will they/won’t they chemistry, moments that had you rooting for them. Nothing too heavy, but definitely warm and fuzzy.

I enjoyed the story overall, but there were some pacing moments that felt off. Things were kind of at a stand still, then all of the sudden things were happening quickly and I stayed up too late to get thru a particular spot. Then it felt like it was over just like that. A bit star crossed lovers, a bit second chance, a bit wrong side of the tracks all rolled into one. As heartbreaking as things were for a bit, I do feel like it was there for a reason. They were just getting started and you never know how things would have turned out. It’s hard for me to review this one without giving away plot, it was nice to read something a little different. I love the concept of soul mates, and I think this one conveyed that pretty well.

Gah! I loved this story! It’s so fun, and it introduces so many potential stories, I can’t wait for them all. The scene in the baby store – epic! Oh, and give yourself the time, because once you hit the LA game, you won’t want to stop. Kitty and Phyllis are amazing and made me laugh at every turn. I seriously don’t even k ow how many times I laughed out loud. Maddox is such a puppy dog, adorable, lovable character, you can’t help but love him from the very beginning. Also, if you’ve read Chelle Sloan before, you get a great cameo from Simon. Such a great book one to a series, I absolutely loved it!
