I have no words. Okay, maybe a few. This story unfolded so carefully, so unbelievably. This whole series has been darker than what I nor.ally read but I’ve been hooked. These men, when they fall, they fall hard and fast and I love it. Theo was definitely very guarded, and so was piper, it’s a wonder how they managed to figure things out. I adored Finn and Nelly. Great editions to the story. I’m looking forward to Cash’s story, but will be disappointed when the series is over.I also listened to the audio. Teddy Hamilton is fantastic, one of my favorite male narrators. The female, I don’t think I’ve listened to before, she was just okay. She over acted most of the book, so even the non dramatic scenes were read dramatically, so when the plot really thickened, there was no where for her to go. And sometimes her Finn voice was too much and made my ears scrunch.https://www.goodreads.com/review/show/7955050474https://www.bookbub.com/reviews/1392955318?source=link_shareBeyond the Blue Horizon by A.L. Jackson is now live in audio!Narrated by: Teddy Hamilton & Kit SwannI should have known I’d break the promise I made when I found her stranded in a blizzard…
Feisty as hell and the most gorgeous woman I’ve ever seen.
With the cutest kid and her grandmother in tow, she’s completely off limits.
I don’t get involved with women like that.
I learned long ago I don’t have the ability to love.
My life is sordid and danger is always hiding in the shadows.
Only I can’t turn my back on them when I realize she’s in trouble, and I insist on them staying in a cabin at the motel I own.
As penance for my sins, I promised my life to protecting others.
Except she becomes so much more.
A need I don’t recognize. A desperation that burns beneath my flesh.
One kiss, and I’m falling for her.
One touch, and I’m at her feet.
But when my dark past comes back to haunt me, I’m in a race against time to save the only woman I’ve ever loved. Only it may be the demons that have been chasing her that destroy what we built.https://www.instagram.com/p/DPzGEm8jds4/?igsh=cTl6dXl0MWRmOGxh

This was a new to me author, so I knew nothing about anyone going in. It featured 2 of my favorite narrators, and a couple of my favorite tropes, so I said sign me up! I adored these two! This may be classified as enemies to lovers, which is not my favorite, but they really weren’t, which I liked. Tanner was sooooo sweet, I loved his character, loved how he treated Millie, just all of it. I normally don’t care for young characters either, I tend to avoid school/college age, but Millie wasn’t as immature as I’ve seen some her age. I definitely need to look up more books from this author, because I really enjoyed this story. I was surprised at how many times I laughed! This may have been my first book, but definitely will not be my last!

4 1/2 stars. I can’t believe this series is over already! This book was super cute, definitely one of my favorites of both this year’s and last year’s series. Lucian was exactly what sweet Neesha needed and didn’t even know. I loved how patient he was with her. I loved all the fitting advice they got from others. And I appreciated the neat wrap-up of the series as a whole. For using 7 different authors, this series read pretty smoothly, even as events overlapped from book to book. Definitely something worth reading all the books in order.
Amazon.com: Skating and Fake Dating: A Sweet Small Town Hockey Romcom eBook : Hall, Ellie: Kindle Store

I love a good fake relationship! This was so cute how they kept finding themselves in situations. I adored these two and really enjoyed this one. The whole series has been super cute, and I’m glad I got the chance to read each and every story. They all have a common theme running thru them of the small town with the new hockey team facing a threat that unites everyone. But each romantic story is its own, yet they’re all complimentary. It was really well put together. Some authors I’ve read before, some, like this one, were new to me, and I won’t hesitate to read more by her.

4 1/2 stars. I normally am not a fan of enemies to lovers, so I wasn’t excited digging and I realized that’s what this was (I don’t read blurbs or tropes). But I ended up enjoying things as they unfolded, and am disappointed to realize Boon was the last brother and the series is apparently over. I liked Shae so much, even though she needed a hood talking to! I thought Kinsley was a great character to bridge Boon’s old life with his new life. The life he was always meant to have, he just didn’t know it. Make sure to grab that bonus epilogue at the end.

This one took me a minute to get into (I think I took too long of a break from maple falls!). Once things got rolling, I enjoyed these two. I love how each book in the series follows the same time line, so there’s overlap. Some scenes we see from the perimeter in one story, then full on in another book, or the same scene from different perspectives, it makes it fun to read the whole series. I loved their date. So normal, so not flashy, but perfect for the 2 of them.

I’ve ready so many books by this author, this one is free today. I like to grab Christmas books throughout the year, but I typically only read them in November and December. This is clean, Christian romance, if that’s your thing.

I loved everything about this book. I loved the Bank’s family rallying together, I adored Linc and Ainsley, even the villans were fun to hate. Linc and Ainsley were so darn cute together, how neither seemed to realize how good they were for the other. I laughed so many times! Simon being Simon, and of course all the sisters having perfect rolls. I really hate to say it, because I hate that this series is over, but it was a perfect way to wrap up the Bank’s family.

I know this has been free before, but if you missed it, now is your chance to grab it. I have not actually read this one, even though I own it. I’m terrible with owned books getting lost in the shuffle of the new and shiny. I swear, I need to take about a year off “life” just to have time to catch up!
