It’s that time of year! Stuff your ereader with free books. I haven’t had time to look yet, but many of these sales are one day only, so I wanted everyone to have time to look. It is time consuming, but you never know what you’ll end up with.
This book. I’m struggling to find words. I’ve read some fluffier books lately, and then started this one and just knew it was going to be more from the beginning. I loved the unconventional format. I didn’t find it hard to follow at all. I was hooked right away, stayed up till two in the morning because I didn’t want to stop. I had no idea what was going to happen, how it would turn out. I knew nothing going in, and seriously worried that it was going to be a true womans fiction and not a happy ending romance. I did cry a smidge in there too, but it was worth it. This book really makes you think, and was just so good, so different than so many books I’ve read. I don’t know if there’s a book of hers that I haven’t loved. I recommend any of her books, but this one especially if you’re married or in a long term committed relationship. You think this could never happen to you, but my goodness, it’s so real and plausible, I felt myself wondering if it was based on a true story. A powerful message, heartbreaking, but amazing story.

I read the book and now that the next book in the series is coming soon, I listened as a refresh. I love both these narrators, Sebastian York is one of my absolute favorite male narrators, and I’ve heard Amy McFadden do so many books, I just love her. they both do an excellent job here, and I loved how both of their pace and volume levels were similar, so that I was able to listen straight through without needing to make adjustments from one chapter to the next. I loved the story just as much the second time around!

I loved this book! A new series can sometimes be hard to get into with book one, but being as it’s set in Blueball, there are familiar names and places. First, it starts of emotional, so maybe don’t start this book in public. After the initial event that kicks this series off, you’re good to go. I loved Georgia so much, so adorable you just can’t stand it! There are many fantastic secondary characters in this book that i hope we still see hoing forward. Who doesn’t love a fixer, a protector? That’s what you get instantly with Warrick. Even though Emmerleigh was stubborn, she had very valid reasons, so it was hard to get too mad at her. I loved that there wasn’t a fist shaking, frustrating event that as a reader you want to smack these characters upside the head. I can’t wait for more, that’s for sure.

I’ve only read the 3rd book in this series, but I didn’t feel lost from anything I missed in books 1 and 2. Even from book 3, I don’t think it would be a required read to fully enjoy this one. Although I do think it would be helpful to fully appreciate, because Rossi played a decent roll in #3. I actually liked this book better, I loved how Rossi shared his story, and I appreciated how he helped Sofie without taking over and dominating the relationship. I enjoyed the narrators, I think they both did a good job, and I liked that their speed and volume seemed matched, so the chapters had good flow, the whole story went smooth actually. I couldn’t believe when I got to the end, that it was over already.

4 1/2 stars. I deducted a simdge just because the whole JP thing was getting old to me. I’m sure others will appreciate it, but for me, it was enough already.
I liked how different this was, when I got to the header of chapter 3, I was like, wait, what?! I loved that Hardy and Everly built thi friendship, because I’m a sucker for friends to lovers. I love how MQ isn’t using those chat bubbles for text. As cute as they are, they don’t always format easily for my ereader.
I love the banter! MQ writes such fun banter. I swear I don’t know how she keeps coming up with this stuff, but it always makes for a fun, entertaining story.
I can’t wait for the next installment in the Bridesmaid for Hire series. Hoping Hardy’s brother makes a fool of himself falling for his girl.
