To be honest, through most of the book, I was much more invested in what was going on with Poppy than I was about the romantic relationship. Not that I didn’t care, just that the other parts held my interest more. Watching Rocket as his world was flipped upside down. Watching how he took it all in. Finally, towards the end, I was rooting for Willow and Rocket to get their happy ending. There were so many sweet moments. And so many heartbreaking admissions. Definitely an emotional story all the way around. I really enjoyed it.

My gut when I saw the new cover was meh. But the book, and the series were really good. The title makes it sound taboo, but it’s really not that scary. Don’t be too afraid to check it out, especially for free.
I’ve only read one other book from this author, and it was also part of this series. I enjoyed this. The bedroom scenes were less cringy for me, so that was helpful. There was still the long list of characters that I wasn’t familiar with, but remembering from the last book, I was okay with it. I liked how different Loomis and Keegan were on paper, but when it came down to it, they really were a good match. I won’t hesitate to read the next book in the series.
I ended up listening to the audio after reading the book, and I enjoyed it better the second time in audio. My brain just can’t read in a British accent, so it just felt right to listen to it over how it was reading. If you have to choose, choose audio!

I’ve so enjoyed this series and hate that it’s over! Make sure you pick up the bonus epilogue because it’s just the perfect wrap-up to Finn and Saoisre’s unconventional romance. I absolutely loved the adventure part of the story! I could have read so much more. I loved the whole Ajax part of the story. It really tugged at your heart and gave you hope at the same time.

I may have shared this one before, but it’s free again. I love Kait Nolan, and I love her romantic suspense because they don’t skimp on the suspense. Check this one out, it’s also part of the Wishful Series that I just adore.
