Part one of the final book in this series just released. I admit, I haven’t read it yet, I’m waiting for book two, because you all know how much I hate a cliffhanger! But to celebrate the closing of the series, book one that started it all is free right now. The whole series is on Unlimited, but if you want to own it, now is your chance. This series has a lot of drama, but such amazing characters, I just love it.
Kait Nolan
I may have posted this one before, but it’s one of the first romance novels I read when I got my kindle. It kind of got me started on my addiction to reading, and got me hooked on Kait Nolan. She’s the first author I emailed basically a fan letter to, and got on her arc team. The Wishful series is still one of my all time favorites, years later.

Love Me in Paris: A Travel Romance (The Self-Vow Book 1) https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0891WSTNY/ref=cm_sw_r_other_apa_i_Ftz2EbKDQCZ1E
I so enjoyed this story! I really feel like this author is underappreciated. I believe this is another Hidden Gems discovered author for me. Her books are really worth checking out.
I’ve never been to France, but this book really makes you want to go. Can I just say, the first kiss in this book is EVERYTHING! Quite possibly the best first kiss I’ve ever read. I don’t want to spoil anything, but this book is fun and serious and romantic and hot, but not in a graphic way. I think it’s very well done that you feel the chemistry, but it’s not explicit, it’s enough to know how meaningful the moment was, but nothing you’d be embarrassed if someone read over your shoulder. I enjoyed the adventure Sophia and Trevor went on. It reminded me of the Closet Reconfiguration episode of Big Bang Theory. Strange comparison I know, but that instantly hit me. Anyway, they both make mistakes (don’t we all) but how and what they learn from it, makes it a meaningful story, and makes for a happier ending. Oh, and I can’t wait for the next book! She really sets it up so you’re really looking forward to it.

Know Me Well: A Small Town Southern Romance (Wishful Romance Book 2) https://www.amazon.com/dp/B011JD9SYU/ref=cm_sw_r_other_apa_i_sU91EbXAA444J
This is one of my favorites in the series, and it was actually one of the first books I fell in love with when I got my kindle a few years ago. I think I came across it in a free romance search, and my love for Kait Nolan’s writing began. I think I’ve read this 2 or 3 times, but it’s been a while. Wishful is still one of my favorite series, there are a good 12 books now I think. Definitely worth picking up!
Longing for Love
Although this is part of a series, you can read this as a stand alone. But if you have kindle unlimited, I would say go for the series. I really enjoyed this one, it’s a little different than so many of the romances out there. It actually makes it more memorable.
Fortuity by Jewel E Ann
I want to preface that I did not read the first two books that came before this book. I wanted to, but I just ran out of time. Since I got an advanced copy of Fortuity, I wanted to make sure I got this one read on time. I definitely want to go back and read them now! I guess there are some spoilers in this book for those first 2, however this totally works as a stand alone. It only made me more curious about the first 2 books. I hope it doesnt take away any twists and surprises for me when I do get to reading the other books, because I normally hate spoilers. But this would totally be my own fault if I’m let down. This was so darn good! I laughed, I cried, I was fully invested. Jewel E Ann is masterful at twisting and turning and keeping you guessing. Her books are never predictable and I love it! I never assume a happy ending, even though I think they all end up that way…eventually . They almost always have some holy crap moment that just flips the book sideways, but always in a great way. I really enjoy her writing a lot. If you’re interested in this story, you should probably not do what I did and go ahead and start at the beginning. I love fate stories, and this is a good one. I know I’m not giving much story, but I don’t want to give anything away. I will throw this out, if you’re over twenty somethings, this is perfect. They’re in their 40s and have actually experienced life. If you’ve read anything by this author before, you won’t be disappointed.
Lost Without You by Mignon Mykel
Lost Without You: A Friends to Lovers Romance https://www.amazon.com/dp/B088C58TCY/ref=cm_sw_r_other_apa_i_QfXZEbQJMA9ZV
I’m going to do my best to gush without spoiling. First, I love this authors work. It’s been so long since I had something new to read from her, I blew right through this book. She wrote one of my all time favorites The Playmaker Duet. Her Preacott series is just so dang good, even though I’ve read everything of hers more than a year ago, her books just stick with me. This one no doubt will be no exception. Reading this book reminded me why friends to lovers is my favorite romance trope. I loved that current events weren’t the big part of the story. It’s a love story first that just happens to take place in current times. I loved Savannah’s nickname from Ryan. I loved how he loved her. I loved that she had her own issues, that he knew her well enough to help her, almost like she didn’t even realize he was helping. It’s not a long book, and I’m not going to lie, the writing style took me a minute to get into, but I didn’t want it to end. Even though it wasn’t that long, it was a complete story. Although I wanted more, I think it was great the way it was.
Always a Bridesmaid by Cindi Madsen
This is the second book of the series (the first was Just One of the Groomsmen which I absolutely loved!) following the same group of friends. This book was just as good as the first, maybe better because there were puppies! This was one of those books that I was actually bummed to finish. I was enjoying it so much, I hated when it was over. Thank goodness there will be another book coming in the series, because I definitely don’t want it to end. This book was so fun, and sweet, and I just enjoyed every word of it. I got misty and it was just perfect. I’m not super eloquent, and for having a blog, I don’t have the best way with words, but this book was fantastic. You could absolutely read it as a stand alone, but you get so much more from the characters by reading both books. And frankly, book one was just as fun to read, so go for it. I have yet to be disappointed by a Cindi Madsen book, her work is worth the time to read.
Adriana Locke
With the last kindle unlimited stint I did, I read quite a few Adriana Locke books. This is book 1 of the Landry series. I enjoyed it quite a bit. A friend recommended her books and I’m officially a fan now. She’s on unlimited, so if you have that, you can check out all of her books.
Annabella Costa
This was the first book I read from this author. I got it through Hidden Gems probably a couple of years ago now. It was different and stood out to me. I read a couple more books from her and discovered that in each book, one of her characters has a disability. They were different than so many other books, but so interesting because it gave the couple something to deal with that so many people don’t, yet so easily, any one of us could have our life change at any moment.
